Discussion on integrated optimal control strategy for air conditioning cooling water systems

To optimize the air conditioning cooling water systems, this paper establishes a system model, and obtains the variation of system energy consumption under different load rates through numerical calculations. The calculation results show that there is a dynamic combination of cooling water flow rate and cooling tower air volume that optimizes the system’s energy efficiency. The optimal control model proposed in this study essentially aims to establish an optimization objective function with multiple parameter coupling under the constraints of equipment performance and system load, taking the system refrigerating coefficient of performance (SCOP) of the electric cold source as the system energy efficiency evaluation index, to determine the optimal combination of control variables such as cooling water flow rate and cooling tower air volume, etc.
